I am an independent journalist and university lecturer living and working in Islamabad, Pakistan.

At the moment, I write for the Pakistani paper Dawn, and work as a stringer/correspondent for the American CS Monitor and the Danish newspaper Information. I regularly cover Pakistan on radio and TV for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation.

I am also the co-founder and co-editor of Tanqeed | a magazine of politics and culture.

Alongside journalism, I regularly teach political science at Pakistani universities. I have worked as Visiting Faculty at the School of Politics and International Relations at Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad, and the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Lahore University of Management Sciences, where I focused on researching and lecturing on radical political philosophy.
